Ifeoma Evelyn Obianodo was born on the 24th September 1957, in Abia, Abia State, into the family of Late Mr.Benedict Uwagba & Mrs Marcillia Uwagba, she was the second child and second daughter of the Uwagba’s family in Ugwudunu village, Neni an d was baptized at Christ The King Catholic Church, Aba, Abia state. She attended St. Johns Primary School, Neni, Anambra State, and Immaculate Conception Primary School, Agbani, Enugu State and proceeded to Agulu Girls and Alo Girls Secondary Sc hool, both in Anambra State and later got united with her heartthrob in the holy matrimony to Chief Dr.V. A Obianodo in 1977, this union was blessed with 5 children.

In her quest for excellence, she enrolled for further studies in the College of Education, Ijaniki, Lagos and later took up a teaching job at St. Josephs Teachers’ College, Ade-Soba, Abule-Ado, Lagos where she show-cased her exceptional qualitie s and love for humanity.

As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was beautiful as she impacted greatly in the lives of those around her and her love for welcoming people knew no bounds as she was always will ing to give counsel, advise and material things whenever there was need for such.

Ifeoma was a member of several social, religious and communal organizations, People’s Club, FHA Lawn Tennis Club, C.W.O, N.T.U and was a Director of numerous companies like; Young Shall Grow Motors Limited, Amaechi Holdings Limited, Vinee Oil Li mited, Y.S.G Properties Limited, Paramount Medicals Limited, where she played some significant roles in their establishments and running, Rockview Hotel, Vineegas Ltd, YSG Dredging.

Ifeoma was survived by her husband of 40 years Chief Dr. V.A Obianodo, Mr Obiora Vincent Obianodo (Son), Mr. Kenechukwu Obianodo (Son), Mrs Onyeka Obi Uchendu (Daughter), and Mr. Chiedozie Obianodo (Son), Mr. Chuka Obianodo (Son) Mr. Ebuka Obi U chendu (Son In-law), Obieze Vincent Obianodo (Grand Son), Adaeze Celine Obianodo (Grand Daughter), Jeweluchi Jasmine Obi Uchendu (Grand Daughter), Mrs. Marcillina Uwagba (Mother), Siblings, Nieces and Nephews.

She was a stabilizing force at her home front and bridge builder, she will greatly be missed by her family, relatives and well-wishers.
