He was born on 6th November 1965 in Nsukka, Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently 54 years old. Kenneth Okonkwo completed his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. He is considered as Nigerian most talented actor. He is always known for playing the role of a desperate man who always uses his wife for money ritual. After completing his primary and secondary school education, Kenneth Okonkwo proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In 1991, Kenneth Okonkwo joined the Nigeria movie industry popularly known as Nollywood professionally and started attending movies auditions and appearing in television series and soap opera. In 1992, Kenneth Okonkwo rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Living in Bondage” a movie that brought Nollywood to limelight.

Kenneth Okonkwo is one of the pioneers of the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood and contributed immensely to the growth of Nollywood in Nigeria and rest of the world. After being married for nine solid years, Kenneth Okonkwo and his wife Ifeoma Okonkwo had their first child on 7th May 2016. Kenneth Okonkwo has acted in more than 350 Nollywood movies.
